In addition to Marcus’ spin on this comfort food classic, Streetbird Las Vegas will highlight other classics from Samuelsson’s repertoire including his famous Hot Honey Chicken & Waffle, Wild Wild Wings, and Mac ’n Green.

Marcus and his team created a replica of the MLS Cup trophy made of waffles baked by East Harlem’s family-owned Aromas Boutique Bakery and filled with Streetbird’s hot & spicy fried chicken.

Streetbird is an eclectic casual dining concept by Marcus Samuelsson that fuses the culture of Harlem with the essence of the Caribbean. Featuring dishes rooted in Southern-American tradition, the cuisine of Streetbird also draws inspiration from Afro-Caribbean culture and incorporates classic Island touches, such as the Calypso Conch Fritters, Escovitch Chicken and Plantain Waffles.
